Philippines allows 5925-6425MHz for HIPERLANs and RLANs
Following our news released on July 12, 2024, please kindly be informed that NTC published additional Memorandum on September 23, 2024 about modification of TAC (Type Acceptance Certificate)/GEC (Grant of Equipment Conformity) covered by NTC Memorandum Circular no. 02-007-2024, which newly allocated 5925-6425MHz frequency band for Short Range Devices (SRD).
Grantees of TAC or GEC for equipment operating in 6GHz band are advised to apply for modification of the corresponding TAC/GEC.
The modified certificate shall indicate the additional frequency band within 5925-6425MHz for short range devices and shall bear the same NTC Certificate Number previously assigned.

Philippines allow 5925-6425MHz for HIPERLANs and RLANs
According to Memorandum Circular No. 002-07-2024 of National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) of Philippines, the frequency band 5925-6425MHz is allowed for HIPERLANs and RLANs SRDs.
This Memorandum Circular was registered on July 8, 2024and will take effect after fifteen days.
After the enforcement date, we can submit new applications for devices with WIFI6E & WIFI7 functions and/or applications to add these functions to the previous issued certificates.
