Products that have passed conformity assessment according to EU Directives and are CE marked don't require additional conformity assessment in Moldova anymore
Due to the fact that the Republic of Moldova and the European Union have initiated the negotiation process for accession to the European Community, amendments to the Law No. 235/2011 regarding accreditation and conformity assessment activities have been approved by Government Decision and are now awaiting approval by the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova. The final date of approval is not yet known, but it should be in the near future.
After these amendments are officially approved and enforced, all products that have already gone through the conformity assessment process according to the modules described in the EU directives, for which an EU declaration of conformity has been issued and which are marked with the CE conformity mark, can be imported to the Republic of Moldova without any additional conformity assessment actions.
From now on, Certification Body under National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) no longer accepts certification application of products that have already passed conformity assessment according to EU Directives and are CE marked.
