Malawi MACRA will start to implement COMMUNICATIONS (Type Approval) REGULATIONS 2023
Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA) will start to implement the COMMUNICATIONS (Type Approval) REGULATIONS 2023 on December 1st, 2024.
The type approval process remains the same and the main changes related to sample and label requirements.
- A sample is required for the type approval application.
- The label is required for the equipment approved after December 1st.
- If the equipment is too small or lacks space to affix the label on the equipment and you want to show the label on the manual or packaging, it is required to send request to authority when submitting the application.
