CITRA announced the adoption of the new generation of Wi-Fi technology (WIFI 6E).

On August 1, 2022, the Communications and Information Technology Regulatory Authority (CITRA) announced the adoption of the new generation of Wi-Fi technology (WIFI 6E), the announcement mentioned that the frequency band (5925-6425MHz with 200mW (EIRP)) is allowed for indoor use only.

CITRA published a new type approval regulation

On September 13, 2021, the Kuwait regulatory authority Communication and Information Technology Regulatory Authority (CITRA) has published a new type approval regulation (Version 1.4). The main change to the regulation is the certificate validity from 1 year to 3 years.
