Taiwan NCC published updated LP0002 to include WiFi 6E (5.945 GHz to 6.425 GHz)
On Feb. 6, 2024, the National Communications Commission (NCC) in Taiwan issued an amendment to Low-power Radio-frequency Devices Technical Regulations LP0002 and effective immediately.
This amendment is issued in connection with the recent amendment to Frequency Allocation announced by the Taiwanese Ministry of Digital Affairs in August 2023.
This version amends Article 5 of the technical regulations by expanding the scope of application and requirements for test items and conformity standards for low power radio frequency devices from 5.945 GHz to 6.425 GHz to facilitate more efficient internet connections and use of the newest generation of wireless devices.
This amendment is according to ETSI EN303687 v1.1.1. Currently there is Chinese version only.
