The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) of Thailand has updated the Technical Standard NBTC TS 1039-2566 for telecommunication equipment using the frequency range of 5.925-6.425GHz. This update was published on November 14, 2024, and took effect from November 15, 2024.
The change includes in power spectral density and acceptance of ETSI EN standard. Previously, only RF test reports based on FCC part 15.407 were accepted for WiFi 6E and WiFi 7 applications. Now, reports based on ETSI EN 303687 V1.1.1 or newer are also accepted.
