TELCOR published new regulation No. 004-2025 for the homologation of telecommunications equipment in Official Gazette No. 215 on November 18, 2025. The new regulation introduces new requirements for documentation, procedures, labeling, etc. and has been enforced since its publication date.
Key Points:
1. New homologation requirements and procedures were established.
2. Mandatory labeling is now required for approved equipment.
3. Language requirements: All documents must be submitted in Spanish, except for
Certificates of Conformity and test reports may be provided in English.
TELCOR is currently not accepting any applications. Detailed procedures will be published once the new process is activated.
