Chinese Authority Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) published 2 Notices in April:
-Notice No. [2024] 76 about Regulation and technical requirements for RFID devices in 900MHz
According to the Regulation, RFID device is subject SRRC type approval certificate but it doesn't require radio station license.
From the effective date of the Regulation on November 1, 2024, RFID device can only operate in frequency band of 920-925MHz and must comply with technical requirements of the new Regulation.
RFID devices, which are type approved according to old regulation before November 1, 2024, can be sold and used until they are scrapped.
-Notice No. [2024] 77 about Regulation and technical requirements for UWB devices
According to the Regulation, UWB device is subject SRRC type approval certificate but it doesn't require radio station license.
From the effective date of the Regulation on August 1, 2025, UWB device can only operate in frequency band of 7163-8812MHz and must comply with technical requirements of the new Regulation.
UWB devices, which are type approved according to old regulation before August 1, 2025, can be sold and used until they are scrapped.
