On February 25, Autoridad de Fiscalización y Regulación de Telecomunicaciones y Transportes (ATT) published an updated List of Equipment Subject to Homologation. Compared with the list published on January 28, 2026, the following key changes are summarized below:
.FM/AM receivers added – The new list explicitly includes FM/AM broadcastreceivers, homologation remains applicable for vehicle equipment within integratedradio functionality.
.New IoT category introduced – A dedicated IoT category now covers LoRaWAN,RFID, and SRD technologies. However, the applicable frequency bands remain unclear, particularly for devices fall under the SRD classification.
.“Low power transmitter” category remains removed – The previous subcategory hasbeen eliminated, potentially affecting certification pathways for Bluetooth, NFC andsimilar low-power RF devices.
.New “Transceivers and Transmitters” category – This includes a “Mobile/ PortableDigital Transceiver” subcategory, which may allow continued certification of certain Wi-Fi equipment. However, confirmation from the authority is still awaited.
.Applications submitted on or after February 25 will be processed under the new list.
